Hi all as u can tell i'm here to seek advice. I am currently a master reb pilot but i want the JSF so after discussion i formulated a plan and here it is.

I plan to buy a z-95 (heavy varient) and equip it with some good lvl8 stuff ect and THEN drop rebel pilot and take up imperial. As imperial i'll do all the things i need to get the jsf. Once i obtain the deed i'll go back to rebel pilot use the z-95 equipped with all the good stuff and grind back up to rebel ace.

There are tho a few questions i have,

1. Will the Z-95 thing actually work (i hope to god it does because that would make my life so much easier)

2. When i get the jsf should i go to 4333 Imp pilot to generate it or will it be as okjust as adeed until i get 4333 rebel pilot (ie will it be bugged unless i generate it as a imperial or is it ok to just wait till i can generate itas a rebel)

3. Is it worth it? I currently fly a belbullab-22 and for fun an arc every now and then. From what i've read the jsf and belbullab have the same kinda turning speeds so is it worth it (altho i could get it purly for the look alone)

4. is there any other faults in this whole plan idea i should be aware of or any bugs i need to watch out for.

thanks for any help in advanced

1 yes

2 you dont have to, it will work without joining the Imp Navy, but I would at the very least have an Imperial or Neutral friend take you up in a 2seater and finish out the quest, just in case they do a bug pass on this.

3 the only differences between the JSF and B22 are cosmetic. Now, that actually means more than it sounds like, because one of the cosmetic differences is that the JSF is half the size. Hitbox is important in PvP.

4 nothing except what I mentioned in #2. Right now when vader gives you the deed, the flag is set on your character for the JSF, but they might change/fix that so that you need to have completed the entire mission string.

No. In order to joinand be Imperial on the ground, you MUST give up Rebel Ground and any Rebel pilot skills you have. Re-Grinding is much easier if you're an Ex-Ace pilot, though. If you're a Ex-Ace pilot, you get 4x normal experience.

It's 4x normal experience? I thought it was (x + 1)* normal exp, where x was the number of pilot aces you had had in the past...?

Try double for your first mastery, triple for the second Pilot profession, and then quadruple for the third. (thats professions not squads)
