There is a long series of quests, culminating in a space mission vs Cyssc Blackscale and company. It begins in the Ryyatt trail by talking to the human in wook armor.

Is it any good, or just comparable with the level 10 from the Nym's quest?

It's a randomized gun with an interesting firing effect from my understanding. im only partway done with it on ay toon myself.

You sure you are not thinking of the Nym Gauss Cannon as that is a randomised lvl 10 gun with an interesting firing effect too.

Hold on, thar! Seems to be a lot of confusion on where all this stuff comes from. Here's what I've read:

The Incom "Trandoshan Special" Repeater Cannon (lvl 10) comes from the trandoshan that starts the Avatar Platform mission, hence the name "Trandoshan Special".

The quest from Carl Mosik (wookie armor guy) eventually gives the Vengeance Ion Cannon (lvl 8).

I know that the stats on the Trandoshan Special do vary, but I'm not sure how much. If it's anything like the variance of the Corellian Beamrail Gauss (Nym's starmap quest), the stats can have huge differences. One beamrail I've had was in the mid 3000's for max dmg, another was 4700. At least one "vs" stat is usually well above average tho.

Yeh my Beamrail Gauss is ok, 4600 max damage approx with vs Shield of 0.75, shame about the refire rate of 0.44, I guess I can get that down if I find another 9 lvl 10 guns

I got 2 gauss cannons with 4600+ dmg...I'm looking for 17 more lvl10 guns.
(7 hours in deepspace, and all I got was ONE lvl10 cannon)
