Thread: Spynet Report--The Arms Race: Arms Frigate (Starsider space event, 6:30 PM EST)

Hey everyone--here's just a taste of what goes on on Starsider. This is for the next event. Hopefully this will either inspire you to join us on Starsider or try something similar on your home server.

It appears the savage battle recently in the Naboo system has curbed both Rebel and Imperial operations in the sector. With heavy losses on both sides, squadrons are rebuilding before continuing operations there. It appears, however, that the Rebels whilst successful in their attempts to recover technology from the Trade Federation wreckage there.
However, there appears to be little rest for the worry. A Rebel frigate has dropped out of hyperspace near the Endor space station for emergency repairs. Its fighters have launched an attack on Imperial Station I there, apparently attempting to keep the TIEs there distracted until the frigate is capable of hyperspace again.
Analysis of hyperspace vectors and known Rebel rendevouz points indicates a high probability of the frigate carrying the recently recovered technology from Naboo. This theory is further supported by the arrival of support vessels from ground squadrons from both Imperial and Rebel fleets.
Whether the Imperials recognize the attack on their base is irrelevant--if they do not defend the platform, the Alliance will surely destroy it and disrupt Imperial operations in the sector. Clearly both sides need to play both offensively and defensively in order to succeed in disrupting the other's operations.

This event will take place at 7:00 EST on Saturday Afternoon. However, fighter pilots for both the Empire and the Rebellion are generaly expected to be at the flight lines and launch for 6:30 EST. (Make that your deadline)

That's the idea.
It worked on me awhile ago. Im just waiting for char trasnfer w/ items to work. CSR says it should publish 20. Kinda hard to part with the prenerf DC's and such.
