Thread: What mouse pad do you use? (if you use a mouse that is)

Currently I use a normal Microsoft Optical mouse, and had found the bare desk/normal mousepads did not offer enough precision when playing FPS games. I opted to go the route of the 3M Precision Optical Mousing Surface. Only problem is these things wear out in about 3 to 4 months, and after that typically develop either a curled edge or a big bubble in the middle. I was just curious what other mousing surfaces people use to play in space? I am thinking of switching to another premium mousepad, but was just wondering if anyone had any tips on what out there is actually decent for optical mice?

I don't fly with my mouse, but I use a Logitec optical mouse. I picked up a cheap Belkin pad, it has a wrist brace on it and is very comfortable. Seems to work well with the mouse, and the wrist pad is great.

I got myself a ratzpad, very low friction. I actually was going to get an Asop mousepad. A little more friction but not too much.

For better response especially with FPS games, a good mousepad and teflon pads for your mouse bottom help alot.

fUnc Surface 1030

Comes with two sides - rough and smooth. The original has a rubber base which CAN slide, but does so over a long period. That newer machined aluminum just looks flat out sexy and the extra weight should keep it planted.

...but 49.99? Sheesh.
