Thread: I'm a Freelance ACE(smuggler) how do I get into DS??

Hello,


I just made ACE and wanted to go into DS. Since I am IMP on the ground I tried the Endor system. I declared and then went to the Emp's Claw. It would not let me enter DS and kept telling me I did not have enough Prestige pts. I had 525K worth. So I tried going to the Dath DS station. It would not talk to me because I was declared. HELP!!!!! I can't figure out how to get into DS.


I then looked at the boards and I hope I am misunderstanding what I read, but It looks like I can't get to DS declared and there by can't mine faction for any kills I make there. Please tell me this is not true and theat I have not been wasting my time.

you can not go into DS overt if you are a freelance pilot. and ya i know it sucks

You get into DS by going to the Dath Station while you are not overt. You pick a side at the station, but you will not earn FP while in DS.

The faction stations require Imperial Prestige or Rebel Prestige, not Pilot Prestige, so Freelancers can not enter there.
