Thread: Can i become a master privateer pilot by just getting the 7,500,000 xp?

I heard i can just to the kessel mission and become master or can i just kill a ton of ships and get my 7,500,000 xp to master pilot? Also, does anyone know a great spawn of enemy ships that are tier 5 in the galaxy? I've been killing tier 4 x-wing for 3600 a pop. Its gonna take me a few weeks this way but i have a shipwright so the loot i collect if used anyway.

you need to destroy 30 ships in kessel then take out a corvette with fighter and gunboat escorts

There are, however, a great spawn of Tier 5 ships in Kessel, if you really want to gain 7.5 million XP.

lol i think everyone is trying to say it No. You must do the gated missions.
After you get master you can go get as much xp as you want lol.

actually once you get master you can't get xp anymore you get pilot prestige, but I'm sure that's what you meant hehe.

After you get to 4444, xp is meaningless. You have to do the 2 master missions to get master.

Sure, you can get the 7.5 million EXP if you want. It just wont do you any good, but I guess it could give you bragging rights. 
To get to ace, you have two missions. One you must destroy 30 fighters in Kessel, the other you must take out a Corvette. With a group, both missions are fairly simple. This is the only way to hit ace.
After you get ace you no longer get EXP and you get "pilot prestige", which is currently useless at the moment and can only get you intoDeep Space for PvP.
