Do I have to be in my own persnal ship to take on the corvette to complete it, or can i ride with a master pilot friend, and as long as the corvette is destroyed, can i complete it that way?

was thinking of riding as ops with a friend, but didnt want to waste time if i cant complete it this way....

You have to be in the group of whoever is destroying it, and I'd suggest some ship station(Turrets I know work, I'd think Operations should too).

Not sure if a station is required, but I'd just recommend it.

I think you have to do damage to at least one subsystem to master so you would need to be in a turret.
