i'm doing my quest where i need to take out 30 imperial tie fighters, i'm in kessel, been here for about 1 hour and have only killed 9, is there a certain place i need to go? because as of now, i'm seeing kessel as dead space. thanks

Kessel, like all the other systems, is far too big to have ships across the system show up on your radar. If you want to find some, go hunting. They tend to bunch up in Imperial vs Alliance mini-battles, so it can be effective to clear out the (insert opposite faction from you) ships and then move on to the next bunch.

Also, group members' kills count, so it can be useful to have a group and be separated, letting each member find and kill ships.

I'm having the same problem as you. From what i've been told, the amount of ships in kessel is proportioned to the amount of players there. No players, no mobs. I'm having the hardest time finishing that mission.
