Hello,

I just got back to playing the game after a few month hiatus, and am wanting to build up my alt's piloting skills. I'm noticing, on rare occasions, that targeting (TAB) to a red dot enemy will swing my point of view right to the target, and will continue to follow the target until I un-select the target. The problem here is that the ship is still flying in the direction prior to targeting the enemy. So for example, I target an enemy, and suddenly I'm looking at the floor or rear of the cockpit and cannot get back to a "straight" view.

This is terribly confusing and I don't know how this happens; maybe I'm hitting a bad key sequence. Any advice on how to avoid this situation would be very helpful.

Num Lock turns Target track off.

I would check your Keymap in Options ctrl-O, controls, keymap
