So I decide to make a nice heavy fighter, one that's less affected by decay than my main PvE ship, something I could kinda use as a throwaway ship for PvP, if the components decayed to nothing who cares. Initially I was going to go with L10 engine and dual L9 RE'd guns, but after looking over my collections I realized that the L9's were only marginally lighter than the L10's, so I decided to throw together two "junk" L10 guns, and go with an L10 engine, 2 L10 guns, and jam whatever else I could into the rest. Anyway, here's what the final result was:
- 1 shot
- Reactor
- Engine
- Shield
- No armor so N/A
- Capacitor
- Booster
- Droid Interface
- Weapon 1
- Weapon 2
- Countermeasures
- Droid Programs
Only use L3 droid programs or lower. For PvP I use WO2, with WO3 in there for "emergency" PvE in deep space or if something nasty agros me. I decided to name it 1 Shot for two reasons. The guns on it are huge, so if I hit you, you're likely gonna die in one shot, and once it starts feeling the bite of decay, with shields as small as it has (relatively speaking) and zero armor, I'm likely going to die in one shot to.

Wow nice ship!
I took an entirely different route in my just for kicks PvP craft. I went with an interceptor with no shields (A little RP, and it dosen't really matter anyway), armor that is about 1100 f/r, a level 7 engine (88.7 speed),and a level 7 crafted gun. I run all computer programs at level 3, and the armor is just in case I get jumped by an npc while patrolling deep space. The gun is so underpowered it is a joke, I have to try to RE something good and light for it, the best part is the speed, it runs about 1200 and turns at that speed too. Unfortunately since my oppressor is so much better at PvE I'm in that 90% of the time I'm in DS since there is so little chance of actually running into a PC out there

I had a bag with 40 L10 guns in it, I went thru and pulled out all the ones with the best stats, and put them aside, then I went thru and pulled out the second and third best stats and made those guns

Okay, if that's your "throwaway ship", what the heck does your REAL ship look like?
Yikes. Nice stuff. I'm jealous.
Any tips on the best place to find the level 10 stuff? Deep Space hasn't been all that kind to me so far, and all those Corvettes flying around make me a little nervous.

I have about 145mil imp prestige earned in deep space (170mil total )

The shield I have is 1777 front and back with 11.90 recharge I use two 1k armour pieces that have a total combined mass of 32689. That defense package fits nicely in my advanced. Again though.. My engine is utter garbage compared to what you have. I just don't really have the SW connection to get good RE parts :/

How does the oppressor handle? It really is a beautiful ship. Nice guns too, if that is the RE from your mediocre guns, what are the stats on your good guns?

As a very gross generalzation derived from a foggy memory of ships i used to fly, handles about like a krayt, which im told handles about as well as a firespray. (dunno for sure, never owned one).
Oppressor has two things going for it over other ships of its class.
Lower profile, and the largest missle payload of any starship short of an MP ships.

Same handling as a krayt, which has 210+k mass. Only advantage it has is lower profile. (2 center mounted guns aren't much an advantage over the krayt, who's two center guns aren't THAT far appart)
