Not much at all, if pilots start getting into the CU that is what we call feature creep where they start to stray away from the main purpose of the publish. Basically pilots and other non ground combatant classes are there to help test out groud things. Just that every correspondent gets 5 picks combtant or not =) the more testers the better.

Hmm best way to answer that.......
"All professions will be at the table for the CU. Even the 2 new JTL ones Pilot and Shipwright." Or something similar to that was said when JTL went live and they started to work on pushing the CU forward. I don't think pilots will have much in the way of "CU related" changes. But I could be wrong when it is all said and done and pushed live.
So I would say this is more of an honor for us to be included in, we should keep that in mind

As a CU Alpha member for DEs, I don't need to apply, but I think I can safely tell all of you without violating my NDA, that, while you are picked from your respective professions by the Correspondent for that prof, you aren't really there "as" a Pilot. You should be a good overall game tester, and have the ability to state problems you finde accurately and eloquently. Also know, we're not really there to suggest things, simply to test what they give us and tell them how well/poorly it will work.
From my readings, the Alpha people by and large fit this bill, and you can rest assured we're there to do our best to make swg a better game for everyone, not just the profession we were picked from.
