My ship as of tonight (flew last night) no longer has enough power under reactor overload 3. The reactor take damage on use, but all the dissabled weapons remain dissabled after its activation, as though no new energy was being generated. This was functioning last night. Anyone else getting this or know of a workarround?

I'm able to use Reactor overload 4 with no problems atm. (Can't confirm 3 though...) How many hitpoints/armor points does your reactor have? Is it possible that you have low enough numbers that turning it on affects your reactors total output?

Make sure it's not dead.
You need to have about 15 or so armour points left for it to function properly with overload. Every time you run your overload program, it damages the component. When you repair, the component decays by one point per every 10 mended.
If you dont have enough armour points to soak up the damage done by the overload command, it will start destroying the component, which lowers it's output.

I reloaded to space a few times and it finally worked properly. I had been getting the message from the flight comp it was forking, but somehow the actuall effect (and SFX) wasnt kicking in. It only worked after I disbanded my group and launched alone in my Krayt. After getting it to work, I landed and regrouped with my gunner. It worked fine from that point on.

Might have been some strange lag issue... ?
