Thread: How to make space count to the GCW

I was thinking how could space count more to the GCW.
One thought is, if a planet is controled by either the Imps/Rebs. Maybe there should be a capital ship placed in that sector of space protecting the planet, and to gaintotal control of the planet this cap ship needs to be destroyed.
The cap ship should also effect reinforcements on that planet. If the cap ship is still there controlling the space above the planet, the faction will receive reinforcements/spawns, if it's destroy no more reinforcements/spawnswill appear for controlling faction of that planet.
Any thoughts on this?

That's a pretty good idea. I would thinks a zones of control thing would also be another was, not sure how you do that in space though. i think your idea is a lot simpler, and better
