Thread: I thought there was unnec. complaining about the loot rate till tonight

I honestly thought people were complaining just to complain about the loot rate until tonight. I experienced it first hand.
1.5 hours in Kessel = 0 loot.
45 minutes in Endor = 0 loot.
15 minutes in Corellia system = 3 level 1 components.
Out of 2+ hours of flying I got 3 level 1 components. In all 3 systems, I was non-stop fighting ships and killing them fairly quickly.
Damn the devs, damn them to hell.

One bad evening does not an issue make. If it happens several times a week, consistently, then get worried.

I would agree - but like others have said after 2+ hours though, one could assume to recieve something.
I don't think this would occur on the "ground" ever. If it had, there would be a mass uprising.

Isn't that whats happening when people are killing Elders now? Nothing but credits... check the devtracker forum, people ARE in an uproar

Well, i had a hell of a day today with JTL cause one mission and i spent like 6 hours re-trying it. More or less i came back home with 70 looted items, most of them crappy, but some nice lvl 8 weapons and lvl 6 engines. My killings were rebs on Endor, tiers 3 and 4.
Also, i remember to fly in DS and Kessel with my privateer for tons of time without geting loot. I'm with the "some days" thery 
I wish you luck in your next space party

I spent about an hour in DS today and came back with plenty of loot. Not sure why you were having such bad luck. I also fought tier 4 rebels around the frigate near the endor space station. They were dropping loot a lot.

3 hours in deep space tonight, about 40 pieces of loot. Lots of Tier 10 engines, actually. No Tier 10 guns or Shields though

Well, like what you guys are reporting for loot that you received last night would be the average night for me as well, just last night was a loss for me.
The SWG gods were not happy with me last night. I just wouldn't have believed prior posts about the loot rate until it happened to me. Just frustrating considering the effort that's all. I will sacrifice a couple durnis before launching into space to applease the SWG gods.
I'm done complaining - hope for a better flight tonight.

I spent a couple hours in DS last night. I'd say that I got less than the average amount of loot (most of which was pure junk), but I certainly didn't leave empty handed.
This is the first thread I've seen where someone got NO loot for an extended period of straight killing. Most people report low drop rates or getting alot of level-inappropriate loot.

Theres good nights and theres bad nights. I dont know what triggers it, or what determines weather youdo good or bad, or if they shift the good loot to different areas night to night, or maybee theythrow in a certain amount of loot every day and once its gonethats it. Ive had those nights where i flew around killing stuff for hours and not looted one stinkin part. Now, if i dont loot anything within 10 to 15 minutes i call it quits for the night, cause it dosent get better.

I just spent the better part of today killing tier 3-4's and i had to go land about 5 times to unload (including emptying my backpack) out of it all i only got about 10 lvl 1's the rest were usually between lvl 5's and lvl 10's. Mostly lvl 6-7's. I hunted in Dathomir. This is a common thing for me also so really dont see that theres a loot problem.

yeah don't let one night of no or little loot bug ya....
i was 3/3/3/4 last friday and 4/4/4/4 by early monday morning (like 3 am) did the bulk of my grinding in a static spawn area in Endor ( which is an awesome spot but slowing down now that i got my tier 4 ship and stuff...)
i had to drop a 2nd house to store all the loot i got over those 3 nights of grinding!!! i've got stuff in the bank, on my vendor, in both my houses, on my person!!! my guild's shipwright is taking a break from the game (playing WoW) and i've sold more to NPC vendors than what i've got saved! (i save only the good/moderate parts and scrapped the rest...)
anyways i tend to ramble on the keyboard lol just wanted to put my 2 cents in...i've had nights where i couldn't get a level 1 part to save my hide! then there is times like last weekend....and i got some very good parts out of it all too! just keep at it...
