From what I've heard, all you need is 4/3/3/3 pilot and a minimum of 5 badges to fly the Vaksai/HeavyX/RoyalTie.

Yes. All you need is the certification at 4/3/3/3. No badge required. So just buy one and do the mission for a free one when they unbug it. Same for Vaksai and Grievous, so I can only imagine that it works for RGI also. ARC170and JSF don't work that way. for those two you MUST have quest badge to fly it along with cert. Not sure about the five badge thing. I got like 150 of them so I wouldn't know. I assume that most pilots, oranyone else for thatmatter,have at leave five.
Mastering pilot for second time sure is a lot more fun. lol. Can't wait for third one! lol

Ahh so there is some hope for the bugged ones who can't do the quest. I thought these ships were badge-specific like the JSF. Guess, i wasn't paying close enough attention. Good to know thanks! I'll start saving my pesos.

I have only made it halfway throught the Kash space missions and, from what I read,am probably bugged now that I dropped SA and went rebel before completeing.
BUT...I bought a Vaksai on a vendor and was able to fly it no problem. Then after I went rebel, re-deeded it and traded for Heavy X-wing. Should I be able to fly heavy X when I hit 4333 in rebel, like I was with Vaksai?
