Thread: how do i change sides

Hey everyone i have been playing this game for about a week now and i have been put into a VERY DIFFICULT SITUATION!!!
about 3 days ago i thought it would be fun to join the rebel alliance, so i went to the rebel pilot trainer on tatooine and signed up. after doing a few missions i decided it would be better to join the empire.
Now i dont give acrud about how the rebels mabe funner than imp, or anything, all i need to no is HOW DO I QUIT REBELS AND JOIN THE IMPS.
i already went to corellia and retired yesterday, but still the character profil says "rebel on leave", and every time a go to the empire pilot trainer on tatooine or naboo they keep saying "i know you your a rebel pilot", or "i dont talk with traitors and sabatoors".
so please, i need expert help so if anyone nows how to quit one side to join the empire please tell me....PLEASE!!!

See a your local rebel recruiter and resign. Doing this will automaticlaly remove your rebel piloting skills as well. One stop convienvance for switching factions.

When you joined the Alliance Space Navy, you also joined the Rebel Ground Army. To join the Epire, you have to leave both. You seem to have found the girl in Tyrena, Corellia and successfully left the Alliance Navy, so the other step is to resign out of the Rebel Army.
Find a Rebel Recruiter - there should be one in the back of the Tyrena Cantina - and tell him you want to resume your duties. That will make you a Combatant Rebel, which must be done before the Recruiter will give you further options. Talk to him again after the 30 second wait and tell him you want to resign. Confirm that, and it'll be another 5 minutes or so before that request is processed and you are clear of the Rebel Army.
To join the Imperial Navy, you will have to have Zero or greater Imperial faction, so hopefully you didn't aquire any, or much a, negative Imperial faction while as an Alliance pilot.
Once the resignation is processed and you have Zero or more Imperial faction points, you will be able to join any of the Imperial Navy Squadrons.
(Be careful during the 5 minute timer and don't go traveling into a city controlled by Imperial NPCs as they attack Rebel Combatants on sight.)
