Thread: Anyone else experiencing Client crash's as of last patch?

I have NEVER crashed in MONTHS. As of last patch, ive had about 3 or 4 client crash's now. Its damn bloody annoing.
Only happends when im in space.
Im wondering if too much is being rendered at once.
First crash i remember, was outside of krhyssheh station. (however the hell you spell it, and i dont realy care) Right as a wave of fighters came in and i started moving.. CRASH.
This last time was just mining outside of Talus. Instant i tapped the 'roid once. chunk came off. CRASH.
In both cases there were alot of clutter on my radar, makes me wonder if its a rendering problem. All those stupid little boxes, all those astroid chunks, normal AI mobs, more ppl in space, etc. I have a radeon 9800 pro with 128 MB of ram, i shouldn't be having this problem if it is indeed a rendering issue.

Yes. Every time I am in Kkovir Forest, the client locks and I have to kill the process. I have been unable to play effectively since the last patch. This happens on the two computers I play SWG on.

I lock up all the time now, very annoying. But I've found I can unlock myself somehow by hitting control+ alt + delete, then hitting alt + esc. When SWG minimizes, it unfreezes as well.

I was unsuccessful with this tactic. The machines are very powerful, but the client seems to have a memory leak. My desktop has 3 GB DDR RAM and it locks whenever I am in the forest. This began happening over the weekend and has gotten progressively worse since the most recent patch.
