yes, shipwrights can make novice ships. unfortunalty as a freelance pilot, you cannot fly the y-wing because it is a rebel ship

Refer to the pilot FAQ thread. In it, is a listing of all ship specifications.

Ship mass in general doesnt change much. If a ship is rated at 65K mass the best you'll get is like 65,650 mass or something like that.

the schyk is the starting freelance ship but can a shiwright make a schyk with more mass to customize with? or is it stuck at the very small weak mass?

just wondering cause I really like that ship

oh and is a Y wing viable in later game cuase that's my other favorite?
