Thread: GOT MY SORU SUBB!!!!! Now what.....

So ilog on yesterday and happily recieve my sorusubb. ( I have been on many before)So after about 10 minutes i begin decortating. A few days later I am done! So now its like well I know this is supposed to be a party yaught and all and im not saying to make it combat, but what I am saying is make stuff like engines upgradeble along with boosters and other componets also allow droid commands and autopilot no weapons though. Could I hear some opinions?

An upcoming publish should have a large focus on MP ships imo.
Sorosuubs could do with having customisable Engines/Boosters as you said, although this isn't that high a priority it'd be nice to see them a bit more enjoyable.
The issues on Multiplayer ships (The YT, Nova, and Decimator) have been covered over and over in this forum, about Starfighter equipment and general lack of incentive to use them.
It'd be great to see a publish on this sorely under-developed side of the game.

I like it just the way it is. It isn't supposed to be fast because that would jostle the passengers too much. It's not supposed to turn very well either, because it is a yacht. It's just supposed to be there to cruise around and have some fun with friends.

Well allowing you to choose an engine can't be a bad thing, if you want to use a low speed engine you would have the option, if you wanted to use a high speed engine you would have the option. As it stands you only have the first option.
Besides, a great part of JTL is customizing your ship like Han Solo, throwing parts in to try and get the best possible combination. Lando Calrissian modified the Lady Luck - why take this oppurtunity away from players?

In my oppinion it's not so much an issue of choice with the soro subb. They're made to have low speed engines being yachts, that'll be all they have. Now it would be kind of nice to get a paint job on them.
I do see what you are getting at though. I mean, Jabba wouldn't go around with a measly non-combat oriented soro subb. He'd want to have some defenses, and he'd probably have an escort wing. Problem is, if that is the case, then the yacht will have to be attackable. I'd say any modified sorosubb should be attackable whether one modifies the engines or anything else because I'm sure pirates will notice the new goodies on these defenseless yacht.

Texture and paint kits work on the yachts, also on TC MP ships no longer use lots!
