i hear its the toughest out there and im wondering why when i chose imp navy it only gave me a wp to one requiter/trainer and that was storm squadron. im having difficult times . very hard times. and i was wondering if there is a way to go to another one instead of doing storm squadron. or do i have to leave the imp navy and go to another trainer/recruiter. Although i have someone to help me with mine just curiouis if theres a way to change?

Storm Squadran is actually easier then Black Epsilon, but either way, imps have the easiest time beating the vette and finding help for the missions just due to bomber strike. Thus the extra time you spend doing those earlier missions, you'll make up in finding easier vette groups. Not to mention the harder missions you get, the better pilot you'll be. Maybe that's why I can't solo the 'vette

if you renounce pilot you can start over in a different squadron, you just have to find the right beginning trainer for the squad you want.

I'm not sure I find the ($Storm_Squadron eq 'Hardest') (can you tell I've been writing much Perl lately? heh) to be true at all, as I have two characters one Rebel, one Imperial, I had a much harder time with the Rebel tier 4 then I currently am having with the Storm Squadron tier 4. It may be because rebel was my first try at pilot, so I wasn't as 'good' of a pilot, but I needed help on all of my tier 4 on rebel, and have done 2 of them as Imp and have not needed help yet on any mission, and I have never died once (and died many times as rebel heh). Just don't be afraid to try new tactics if you can't complete a mission with your old ones, that pretty much did it for me every time.

Just my thoughts. With Weapon Overload 3, Cap to Shield shunt 3, and Engine Overload 3, I'm pretty much set even on my v3 droid-though it's sometimes hard to find a vendor for the droid chips (don't think they all fit on v2, though you should be able to live without cap to shield for at least the first two tiers, it helps a bit on tier3 though)

LOL, I've done missions for both, and I couldn't disagree more. Black Epislon is a walk in the park compared to storm.

To the original poster; hang in there and try to get some help, the missions are harder, but its worth it when you finish them.

While I haven't personally done Storm, in my old guild I flew just about every Storm mission with people to help them out. And compared to what I went through (that being Black Epsilon) Storm is easy, very very easy...but my god is it long! Talk about a million and one escort missions that never seem to end!

If you want easy do CorSec, I've soloed everything but the 4-3 mission...which is still giving me a hard time after nearly a dozen tries.

I have to agree that Storm Squadron appears to be the hardest. I became ace in Storm Squadron then dropped it. BTW the "Master Bonus" (which doubles xp) is great. With my prior experience in Storm and this bonus I'm 3332 in just a few days (I know where to grind).

If Black Epsilon is less difficult than Storm (I'm going through the Imperial Inquisition btw) then I'll go triple ace.

I have to agree that you need wingmen to come along with you on those hard missions. I've heard people who can solo all the way up to ace, but why?? Having friends along makes the mission more enjoyable and easier.
