Hello,

I just started using JTL and am finding that aquiring XP to be rather slow. I am currently an Imp pilot working for Black Epsilon and taking missions out of the Talus imp outpost.

Is there a quick way for a noobie pilot to get XP? Or should I just keep taking missions from the NPC (i forgot her name) in the talus imp outpost until she gives me no more. Should i look for something like a better gun for my ship? I am only an Imp Pilot initiate 0/0/0/0.

Id appreciate any pointers.

Early on, when you are in the first tier, the dut missions offered are good xps. Make sure the first box you train in, is for components, then upgrade with some Level 2-3 parts.

Just take the missions from the NPC. There is an FAQ at the top of the forum that should have a link to good hunting locations. You can use those in your future hunting escapades.

Dont call it grinding. Call it Focusing ur skills as a Pilot Enjoy ur Hunting learn and focus ur skills.Once u finish ur first set of missions explore make friends with Higher Teirs and Take a ride out to kessel and do some Gunning Uber exp 33k for gunboats and 7-8k exp per fighter And if ur with a Ace it should be fun. Just dont think of it as a *GRIND* it ruins the Spirit of Piloting. Have fun.
