Ok, I beat colzat's mission's for the Imperial pilot. I only have one skill in the first tier where do I go?

Also: Someone told me that you can "train" in space like grinding right outsdie Mos Eisley, without taking a mission. I tried and I could'nt find anything...What gives?

There are plenty of wild spawns in space, just remember not to go after anything much tougher than you. It is hard to search a large volume of space in a newbie ship since they are very slow, but try launching, and looking at a list of the POIs for the sector you're in. Pick one that seems promising and head for it, I'm sure you'll fins something to shoot.
