Thread: Tier3 / Tier4 duty missions for cash?

I keep hearing people mention some mission they take that makes alot of cash.. I assume its a duty mission but havent been able to confirm this.
I am currently 4433 Neutral Pilot and so far the best duty mission I can find is the one from Dantooine station. The problem with that mission is its Tier2 and Tier3 ships. Tier2 arent worth much exp or cash so that mission only ends up getting me about 250k by the time I finish the mission and sell the parts (takes approximately an hour to complete)
Does anyone know where a NEUTRAL pilot can find better duty missions for cash purposes? I dont even mind if I have to land at a starport and talk to an NPC there as long as its a repeatable duty mission with mostly tier3 and maybe some tier4 ships.

tier 4 duty mission for the rsf (killing black sun) pay well, also decent loot

Hmm, I dont think im RSF, I did all my missions from Tatooine. Would that matter or can I still find those missions for RSF?

im not sure but i think you can do other neutral duty missions to.

Any Neutral can get Duty from the other Neutral trainers.The RSF black sun is popular, but short compared to some other tier4 duties.
Maybe you're spoiled by the old days of sologrouping, but 250k an hour is pretty darn good. If you're interested in more xps, then explore the duties from tier3-4 trainers for neutrals, but I recommend avoiding the Destroy mission form the tier4 Smuggler's alliance trainer. The wave bosses are TIE Aggressors, and less than fun for someone at your level.

I did that Smugglers Alliance mission once, I definitely dont like agressors but if there is just 1 I can take it out fine.
250k an hour is decent but I hear people talking about getting close to 500k an hour from missions somehow.
Ill have to go check out the RSF trainer if I can find him.

well 500k per hour sound high, but who knows maybe they solded their loot to a rich sw

If your having probs with the aggrssors ( more than one) hit your iff, and head off about 500m, turn and attack just ONE, the other will just sit there till you finish of the first, always target the gun first with the [ ] keys

The main problem I have (in addition to the gun which I can deal with) is that the agressors are quite agile and my ship doesnt keep up with their turn rates very well so it takes pretty long to take them out unless I 'Joust' them. I may end up trying some of the other ships available to me but I dont think any of them can carry decent equipment and still be maneuverable.

when you turn, slow down then speed back up, you will turn a lot faster. Or your could slow down just a bit.

I suggest doing the duty destroy mission from dathomir station. Black sun only missions with tier 3/4s. Easy, good xp, and pays well.

Last time I went to dath station it didnt have a mission I could do. Dunno why.
I tried the RSF tier 4 black sun mission last night and went through the point where 3 "boss" pilots spawn. I didnt figure I'd want to do the next full wave to get to the 4 "boss" pilots since they are tier 5 and, even though I can survived them easy enough, they take to long to shoot down to be worth the time.
Instead I plan to try the Tier 3 RSF destroy mission and see how that works. I can shoot down endless waves of tier 3 and they are nearly the same exp as tier 4 in some cases so it should be good cash/exp for me.
I ended up getting about 500k exp last night but only around 200k creds. The RSF Black sun mission did not drop much loot at all so it really wasnt worth the time.

Make sure it's the right station, and also if you went there before the last publish, it wouldn't have been there. The station you want is the station whose avatar is wearing imperial clothing. It's the Dathomir Space Station (Neutral Space Station), and not Neutral Space Station. A lot of times people head to the wrong station in Dath because there are no stations on the galaxy map, it ends up being POI. The easy way to remember is the one closest to Emperors Hand hyperpoint is the one you don't want to go to.
