I did not get anything in my inventory for completing Tier 3.
Anyone know exaclty when/how this happens, and what the engine is named?

Yeah - I don't remember getting any reward for completing Tier 3 either (but the item may have been mixed in with the other space loot I had in the inventory at the time).

I think only Rebel pilots get the (now nerfed) high speed engine.

Everybody gets it, but there is no message that tells you you got it, so it probably got mixed in with your other loot.

or, if you went to the trainer with a full inventory, you didn't get anything possibly.

I think the Imperial reward engine is named the Cygnus Megadrive.
