For a decent Master pilot, its soloable up to the escort mission. Then it helps to have a few friends along to keep the fighters busy as the mission runner steers clear of the gunboats.

Soloed the whole thing in a B-Wing. None of was terribly difficult, but I will say that if you are only tier 3, then you probably want to get another tier first. Trying to take down the tier 5 escorts (there are 2 of them and 2 teir 4s) will probably take you a little longer most likely, and during that time, its probable that you'll take a couple shots in the rear, which will not make your day any better, with a tier 3 gear.

Don't get me wrong, you can make some fairly awesome teir 3 load out ships, but as its your first time through, I'm guessing you're probably not running a ton of heavily RE'd gear.

You sir, have monumental patience. B wing i think is the only ship that i found really irritating to fly. Not that i coudlnt change my mode of flying, but it just irratated me.

Agreed...its like flying drunk in my opinion. And since I have flown a JSF drunk, I know what I'm talking about. Four guns would be nice, but that is just too trying for me.

It just takes an EXTREMELY steady hand on the stick at the sweet spot with EO3 or EO4 running. With a capacitor overload and a weapon overload running, its astaggering amount of firepower to control (I can get three level 9and a level 7 blaster running on it. Its a shipyou almost want your control inertia damned near maxed or you will be flailing all over the place.

The reality is that its not designed to be a dogfighter, its a strafer. Get it up to a good clip and do long steady runs at your target.
