Since no one has mentioned this.....find a friendly pilot with a POB ship to get your XP...

Wow, I am in some trouble now. I had a full D-pad of fully loaded ships and dropped my faction. I lost my pilot profession as well and now I can't fly. The search features are not working and I am at a loss as to what to do. I have sent a ticket in for help, and wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and might be able to tell me how it was resolved. Any help would be appreciated!
Yes, I know it was not a good idea to leave 6 ships loaded in the D-pad, but it happened.....I just need to know how to fix the problem or will I needto wait on a CSR to get back to me.
Please help! Your my only hope!

Didn't read the fine print when resigning faction did ya?
Sorry to say you only have two options:
1.) CSR
2.) recertify in said equipment so you can remove it yourself.

a CSR should almost certainly help you as otherwise unless you have a starter ship loaded up in your D pad, you're erm well...not going to be flying ever. So I certainly hope one gets back to you asap matey.
The only way you could do it otherwise is by destroying one of your ships through your data pad..but I'm guessing you've got some nice re'd equipment on every ship and that'd hurt if you did that...so erm don't unless you really have to.

That really isnt an option if you have good parts. Parts are worth alot more than the stupid chassis most of the time. Parts are what make the ship.

Thanks guy! You proved my point that a non-flaming civil post about a problem would get better responses than one that is flaming and toss last weeks garbage around.....to see what I am talking about, follow the link I had posted in the original post. 
On a side note...this post will still serve those who did actually do this and need help..not wanting to waste time fighting through a pie fight.
My ships are all fine and resting in my hanger while I expect to take one up tonight to down another of manyvettes with guildies.

4) fly gunner to regain rank (variant of 2 and not too likely, but handy if you had a Y-Wing loaded).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you able to trade one of your ships to a pal, and have him take care of it untill you can use it again?

I have a fix for this that SOE should put into the game right away. If you have anyships in your datapad besides the Yatch or the Y8, you should not be able to drop your pilot skills. This would prevent this from ever being a problem for anyone again.
