Thread: Priveteer Assignment Dantooine Destroy Imperial Patrol
Has anyone else had problems with this mission? I am currently a 2,2,2,2 pilot working for the smuggler alliance on Tantooine. I just recently got my last level 2 box and Shamdon gave me a mission to go to Dantooine and destroy an imperial patrol which according to the quest journal would be a tie interceptor and tie fighters. However, when I hyper in to Dantooine a mission waypoint does not spawn and all I ever see are just random sets of imperial ships near the imperial space stations which CON blue for me. Does anyone know if a specific set of ships spawn for this mission or am I supposed to kill random ships until it finally says I am done?
Things I have done so far - Hyper’d into all Dantooine areas. Gone back to Shamdon, who tells me to talk to Talon Karrde and then Talon tells me to talk to Shamdon. I know that I will eventually get sent to Jabba’s trainer and have tried to talk to him, but at the moment he won’t converse with me.
Any help would be appreciated as the CSR’s have been of no help.
I don't know this specific mission, but most of the piloting professions have one or two seek and destroy missions, where seek is actually part of the mission.
Jump to the given system and start patroling. Pick some waypoints from the POIs, if you read what they stand for, you probably can even guess where you find our target by that already. Fly there, find something which could be your target, attack. The targets on the S&D missions are blue at first, otherwhise it would be a "fly and destroy", with them being blue the "seek" comes into play.

[I personally wish there'd be more missions like that, where it's not just "go from one waypoint to another, do exactly what you are told"but you rather get a rough guideline what should be done in the mission and you then have to go out and get the act together on own judgement and ability.]

I agree with Cougro...try Dathomir.
I am currently regrinding SA (where my pilot will stay), and I do not remember any missions in Dantooine...I'm pretty sure its Dathomir.
