well the GT-GreasedLightling is about get hit by a nerf wrecking-ball wiht pub21, so ive been busy reworking my ship. im almost done.

heres what i have so far for my jsf's next version, the GT-Pheonix.

l3 re ractor, 1.8k mass, 13500 output.

l8 Q.I.D. RE, will be 105 speed 75ypr 21k mass and 1400 drain (im wanting a lower drain, but not finding anything)

l7 starmap shield RE, 2200 f/b 15 recharge 15k mass, i will run adjust front moderate in pvp for a 3300 front facing. might go with a re'd l8 reward, but dont have one on hand right now.

l10 front armor, 11k mass 2.2k hitpoints. the idea is to more or less keep the survivability of my last loadout.

mkI cap may go bigger if i end up with spare mass

no booster planned, but if i got spare reactor power and mass ill toss in a crafted mkI or II

l1 pre-nerf di (if i can find it, i think i might have given all of mine away since i was using a kse'd 0 speed di)

twin re l7 "blotdriver" cannons

Damn you, now i have to start farming for armor just to keep up with your happy ass in surviablity.

EDIT: it just occured to me that the RGI, (sans pin sized hitbox) in all acutalitly, might be obsolete by that loadout.

Doesnt have enough firepower to cut through those defenses before you shunt.
Having enough mass to match those defenses is... sketchy.

Well, now you all know the basis ive been ranting from about exploits and broken pvp. Ive known about this for awhile now but couldnt publicaly say anything about it. Hes not the only one with this setup, and why i feel no shame at all, for flying an RGI. You can do far far worse then fly an RGI.

Sad to say, there are still, more exploits. The one ostat here used, as been in since the game was launched and only now do they bother with it.<

Actually more than a simple 'QFE'.
It's POS players like this that are on the same level as Jedi asking for FP in space.
They're not interested in playing and having a challenge, they simply want to toggle on God mode at their discretion.

(And for whoever said 'At least you're honest'. Gimme a break! He's only being 'honest' at this point because the upcoming patch is forcing him to be. Admitting you're a stinking cheater AFTER getting caught is NOT a redeeming action.)

All I gotta say is don't ever call yourself an Ace for anything you did with that set up. You rate right up there with double slicers on the worthless sh*t scale.

Well, as the old say goes, "dont hate the player, hate the game" Or in this case sony.

I give ostat alot of credit for being honest about it. Ingame he made no secret about what he was packing in his ship. He could have just not said anything and nobody would be any the wiser but he did say something, and for that, i give him credit for honesty.

He never said anything about it on the forums for the same reason i didnt. The corrspodants have known about this for MONTHS. Posting it on the forums was a quick way to get banned because they were trying to keep a lid on it. Now that sony finally publically acknowledges it with a fix, we're all free to talk about it now.

hey now ive put in three tickets about this and pm'd tiggs on teh forum, so im one of the reasons its getting changed.

as for not wanting a challenge, there hasnt been any challenge at all in jtl for me since they added cap to shield shunt. i hit the absolute limit on what an awing could do, and nothing except IR2 oppressors could come close to touching me. i got bored and decided to take it past the limit. immortality was fun, but i still dont plan on ever getting shot down in my JSF.

No way in hell. The fact that an exploit was known and reported was fine. Turning around and using it because it was there is absolutely inexcusable.

Its like someone reporting credit duping, but then going and hooking themselves up with a billion or two because everyone else was doing it. No ethic, no integrity, nothing. I'd sooner park my A-Wing and stick with PvE monotony than sell out like that. Worse, its hypocritical. Changing up stats to 50k mass is a slap on the wrist, there ought to be bans coming down for sh*t like this.

Blatant, admitted exploitation, whether you did the "honest" thing by reporting it is just friggin' pathetic. Are you people that friggin' incompetent behind the stick that you had to go and play the game in Godmode? Jesus H Christ, no wonder PvE bores you to death, it doesn't matter what you fly, its all child's play behind builds like that...

What a friggin' joke.

And yet, there are so many of us, especially those of us with SW alts, who have a veritable TON of KSE frags in storage who have not used this cheat.

He doesn't deserve any credit for being honest about it, he WOULD have deserved credit for not doing it in the first place. As far as this 'Don't hate the player...' rhetoric, the PLAYER makes a choice on how he plays the game.

I think it's utter crap that a cheater being forced by game mechanics to stop cheating is being somewhat lauded for his 'honesty'.
Anyone remember Jim Bakker?
He was sorry after he got caught too...oh wait, the OP hasn't really admitted to being SORRY has he?
Something to think about.
