Don't get too worked up, the rebel vette ain't much of a challenge either, just need a tad more spatial awareness of those gunboat turrets.

Did I sound worked up? It's more than just the gunboats though.

For the Kessel component of my Corsec Tree I've had to kill 30 Tier V Rebel ships... wow, cake. Y -Wing NPC's are as weak as Newb driven, Tier II Y -Wing, B-Wings are not much different. I really don't know what Imp ships would compare with these. Very easy to hit, and, not a great deal of danger, falling in there with the slow, heavy, Neut Pirate NPC ships. X-Wings are a tad more manueverable, but, again, no real Imp equivalant seems on the offing. A - Wings have the speed of the Interceptors, and are about as hard to hit, but, don't seem to pack much of a punch.

My Piloting is getting better, I've been practicing lately with the Jillion bolt Droid fighters, doing very well on evading, and slightly better on targeting, but,my skills havenot improved enough to have made This much of a difference.

I'm one vette away from Completing my Second Ace, have delayed it all day playing with Guildmates on various space missions, and just goofing off working on target practice, and what not... I am strongly contemplating going for Storm Squadran to see what this is all about. It sounds like a great challenge, these one or two missions, certainly the boards have been full of tales of horror, or boastings. All Good, in my opinion. Not every aspect should be a cake walk, and a Difficult Tree or two seems Very, very fitting for a profession in which YOU are the Prime factor in determining the outcome of any encounter.

My only dilema is that for the period of time I might be doing this, I will be unable to help a vast majority of my guild mates If it were that alone I would simply hurry up... I still think I might though. There is something very appealing about tackling something like this.

Pfff, you're no fun.

What else though? The two agressors aren't a big deal, since by that point a pilot should be able to handle them quickly. The only thing that's ever given me difficulty on the rebel vette versus the Imperial vette is the difference in firing arcs on the gunboats - if you get sloppy, you end up in range of those turrets easily enough.

I'm not trying to say the Other vette is "sooo" much harder than that one, I'm saying that one is the easier of the two.
