I pulled a 96 speed the other night, with the others I have assembled, I'm looking at about 74/75/75 pre-RE for YPR.

Just 5 more to go.

Hold off on that 96, the YPR you have isn't worth wasting that speed on as depending on rounding it might not break 80. I'd wait until you have at least 76 pre-RE for the YPR (so it definately breaks 80 RE'd), and would seriously consider holding it until you have 80 pre-RE to break 85 (rare, but definately worth it with that speed). Every 5 gives you another 0.1 top YPR rating.

I know what to look for in drain and YPR... but I was curious what the top range would be for speed preRE ... on what is dropping now. Also, was the nerf to the super speed lvl 10's that came in around 120 a retroactive nerf? or are there technically a few pre-nerf's out there?

as far as mass goes, I'll have to look again but I'm pretty sure I have a lvl 10 with 42k mass ... I know "keep anything under 45k" but how hard will it be to get lower than this? good to go ahead and build with this one in mind for best mass? or look for even lower?

The nerf was not retroactive, but the chance of finding a pre-nerf one with speed over 100 is next to impossible. On most servers, there's a good chance that none witha speed that high were even looted before the nerf went it. As for what you can get on loot drops now, its speculated that the highest possible top speed is 99.9. I've seen a few in the mid 90s, and quite a few more in the low 90s. Personally I'm holding off until I get one in the high 90s before REing, however I've already got a decent RE'd level 10 engine and a very nice RE'd level 8 engine to get me by, since looting a level 10 with 97+ speed could take months.

Out of about 20 engines so far, fastest I've seen is 92.9 speed. Granted, thatisn't a large sample, but it still feels like it hehe.

Corrected Stats: (sorry guys, was at work, and my memory isn't great)

95.2 speed, 75 P, 78 Y, 73 R.

With a 5% bonus, that comes out to 99.96 speed, which should round up to 100.0.

Again, sorry about the fubar memory.

Apparantly, he's been sneaking some of Leaph's memory pills.

I've only been in the RE business since I've come back after the CU, and I've never RE'd an L10 before.

L10 engines drop with 80+ PYR pre-re. Using 75/76 pre-re is like using 69 PYR in a level 8 engine RE job.
