Thread: IMP Inqusition Pilots PLEASE READ!

I encountered an odd occurance. I completed 4444 under the Inquisition SQ out of the Emporers retreat. I was given a mission after completeing the xxx4 box. It started with an escort, and ended in a failed mission when I went to save the 701st fighter sq. ( cruiser got me ). OK, when I failed I figured id take a break and would come back in a day or so to repeat the mission ( note this mission had NO mention of kessel ). So I did some faction grinding, misc missions on the ground. Heres where it gets strange. I was in Naboo Palace saw a Grand admiral with the JTL logo floating above his head ( the "Ii" with ships spinning around ) skirted by 2 Stormtroopers with the same logo. So, I figure I'd talk to them and see what they might say. Well, LONG story short I received a KESSEL mission ( destroy xxx non-capital rebel ships ). When I asked a friend of mine about what had happend he said that was similar to the mission JUST prior to the Corvette run to attain master / ace pilot. Well, how can that be? I'm not from their Squadron, I still havent completed the mission I was assigned after attaining 4444. So whats going on?
I dont want to complete the mission from the Grand Admiral if it places me in their SQ ( I like Inquisition SQ ). However, it sounds like im only a step away from getting master pilot.
ANYone have any idea whats going on?

Far as I know, all Imps get their Ace missions from the Grand Admiral 
He's very high up in the Imp chain of command. I'm Inquisition and that's where I got my Ace missions from.

In short, don't worry, you're still one of us

Excellent thats good to know.
Tell me though ... what about that mission I failed from the emporers retreat? I had JUST completed a mission to get 4444 when the same Inquisitor gave me another mission ( which I failed ) and he has yet to tell me to go to the Grand admiral. Why is it I can get the mission from the grand admiral without completeing all the missions from the inquisitor at the retreat? I just assumed I would complete all the missions the inquisitor had for me to do, then he would tell me to see the next NPC ... in this case I'm assuming the Grand admiral. Yet I seemed to have bypassed that somehow.
Any Ideas?

probably the exit mission (the one after 4444) it's just an option mission, i think the bug is on the first tier 4 mision since you can train the last tier 3 box and the first tier 4 without running the first yier 4 mission but just using the 1 mil xp you got while running the tier 3 missions over and over. So the 4444 exit mission is not really intended to be an exit mission but the mission for last tier 4 box, but since you already trained that box yo are allowed to start the 2 axe missions.
That's good to know since the so called tier 4 exit missions are usually the hardest ones and are hard to complete solo (i completed the inquisitor solo on my second attemp, failed on first one couse a crash after i took the escort out and i was working on the gunboat)
