When I first started playing SWG I remember the Space Radar showing Red/Yellow/Green dots that got bigger as the range decreased.... however, about 2 weeks in my radar changed to a blue & orange donut with only white dots...

I know you are going to say check video drivers etc, but that is not the issue. For some reason, my radar is different, NOT discolored. When I load up in space on my laptop I see the old radar that was USEFULL lol.... Is there a setting somewhere I missed that I can change?

You learn something new every day!

I knew about the reticles, but not the rader. I'll give them a try tonight.

As far as i remember, it is not really an isometric radar, just has the appearance.
(The picture indicates that i migth be wrong, though... *shrug*)

Anyways, the style 1 would be ultracool, wouldn't it be messed up by cap overload.

The blue bar on the right side is cap charge, the bars on the left are speed and booster energy. Problem is, if you use cap overload, the bar just grows accordingly around the radar and covers the display for frontal shields, so you can't see their status any more.

Aye--I tried out the different radar types last night while my wingman and I were playing with our Firesprays and killing the Dark Eclipse repeatedly, and decided the best thing to do was stick with the classic radar.

(Oh, and I picked up my first Firespray PvP kill last night. The weapon placement can actually be used to your advantage in PvP.)

Indeed I tried the isometric radar... well it would be fine but it does not show shield damage... it does give you a better idea of where targets are in relation to your plane of movement but I need my shield monitor.

I've been trying to find out if the radar window itself can be made larger? Resizing the window only changes the distance the numbers and symbols are away from the radar view, but doesnt actually make the circle itself with all your targets dots in it bigger. Anyone know?

"Richthofen was not regarded by his peers as an especially gifted pilot. Pilots of the day and historians have continually asserted that his younger brother Lothar was a much more natural pilot, being more skilled in aerobatic maneuvers. Rather than engage in such risky tactics, Manfred von Richthofen adhered strictly to a set of flight maxims (commonly referred to as the "Dicta Boelcke") to assure the greatest chance of both squadron and individual success." -- Wikiepedia, "The Red Baron"
