Thread: Level 8 engine what to aim for?

I've just done a spree on the bazaar and found my old QID (it's absolute pants 
), and decided to see how near to being able to RE I am 
.
The lowest of all important statistics are: (I've tried doing the 5% bonus RE thing to the side too, but my maths is probably flawed, i'm an eedjit)
Reactor Energy Drain: 1344.0 = 1276.8 (If pub24 comes and works)
Mass: 25316.0 = 24050.2
Pitch: 69.8 = 73.29
Yaw: 69.4 = 72.87
Roll: 69.4 = 72.87
Top Speed: 93.4 = 98.07
It's obvious I should try and get a better high speed, so i'll be harrasing guildmates to do the QID quest. How far higher should I be aiming on the other stats?

I'm not sure 'bout drain at the moment, I was told to shoot for 71.5 in the PYR. It is possible to find higher stats, but my patience is near an end. Just waiting for Pub24 to go live, and survive w/o crashing for a week or so before I risk my RE set....

71.5 will grant a perfect 75.0, and that's probably coming from the first edition of my thread, before I had a better understanding of the PYR gates for 1.3-1.5 mods.
IDEALLY, 74.0 pre-RE (which I believe is the minimum one would need for a 1.4 mod at 77.8 post-RE) should be your goal, but typically anything in the 73.5-74.0 range will suffice.

holy snap, 73-74?
since launch of JTL... in all the lvl 8 engines ive looted. the current high i have, is 71.2...

They're rare, really rare infact, but they're out there.

In my experience 72+ isn't nearly as hard to find as your low reactor drain. I have an estimated 80+ engines and only one is below 1400 RD. While I have 3 right now above 73 PYR and about 6-7 more above 72. One of the 73+ is also a sweet 23202 mass

What's good speed for a QID? I think I got a good one earlier, was 100.8 which should RE to 105.84.

I have given up on getting a better Pitch lvl8 engine. 72,5 will have to suffice (pre-re). Just want my new engine, also 20k mass (pre-re) and 1260ish power. If drain bonus is applied, I'll be happy.
The new EO4 engine for my RGI
