I read here => November 30th (last post was Dec 8th)

Lots of reasons, the holiday and a pretty severe family emergency ranking highest amongst them. I'm back now, and my updated list is in its final editing stages.
The last couple of days haven't given me much time to post on the public forums, but the devs are providing a great deal of feedback on the correspondent forums and they're genuinely interested in making JTL the best experience it can be. The lag and rubberbanding, AI balance issues, and major bugs are all on their radar and progress is happening every day... I'm right there with you guys in hoping that we see the results sooner rather than later.
Look for my faster, stronger, smarter list within the next 24 hours. I hope to cover the bases on most of our major issues in the newest revision.

I hope your family is well and everything is ok in the real-world. I know you said you had family in the hospital and I definately believe SWG should come a far second to real life.
As soon as you can, we have lots of folks stuck at their Tier4 exit missions (with no way to advance right now) and a whole slew of other issues. We haven't heard anything from you since the 8th. Are you still with us or do we need to find another correspondant already?
Could really use some help getting these issues resolved as being so close to ACE and unable to proceed is... well.. frustrating.

Hey, everyone. Sorry to be such a stranger lately... I believe I owe you guys full disclosure on the nature of my absence.
Two days before thanksgiving, one of my cousins was critically injured when she was hit by a drunk driver while driving home from work. After two weeks of brave struggle, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Four days later, a super-virulent form of viral tonsilitis decided to take advantage of my exhausted, hyper-stressed state and set up residence in my throat, which resulted in my being hospitalized for a further two weeks in a very dehydrated and something less than coherent state.
I'm home now, and recovering better than I could have hoped. Unfortunately, my access to the internet during the past few weeks has been decidedly less than optimal, and you have my apologies for the apparent communications blackout. Fellow pilot and community member somerandomuser has kindly volunteered to help me bring the issues list completely up to date, and I'm cautiously optomistic about releasing the new list in a fully formatted revision during the holiday season.
As the tier 4 mission gating and multiplayer ship bugs have persisted for some time now, I've forwarded both of those bugs higher up the dev chain than normal with the hopes that we'll see a fix as soon(tm) as is humanly possible.
I wish to extend my sincerest gratitude to the pilot community for patience over the last month. With any luck, the most critical outstanding issues facing our profession will be addressed very shortly.

So sorry to hear that Smoke, truly. I hope that the holidays can provide some level of comfort and happiness. Take it easy until you are fully ready to get back to this. I've started a top 5 issue thread to help in any small way that we can. Hope to see you fully functioning again soon.

/agree to everything stated above, esp. the hopes that all is well.
just thought I'd add as an issue for the existing Aces that is older and as big as the Tier 4 exit missions (but by no means more important overall) is the ever present Plasma Leak / Alarm bug in MP ships.

SMOKE, you rock man. You've been a coorespondant so far and we appreciate what you do. Really sorry to hear about your family and hope you are feeling well soon. Live is much more important than any game out there. Hope you and your family find comfort and joy this holiday season and you and your family will be in my prayers.
Take care and here's to wishing for a speedy recovery!
