Hi,

Now I know that the KSE firespray is obtained by getting pieces of the schematic from a component that has "(Unknown)" in the name. But what do I do with these components? I currently have a handful.

Learn from the master,

Grow as strong as the master,

Kill the master.

This is a SW question. Only SWs can get the disks and that is by RE'ing ship parts of the same level and of the same type.

The unkown item message pops up during the RE process and has nothing to do with ship comps with unknown in there name.

Incorrect. Any parts will do. Rumors that it takes Unknown parts, or Kuat parts are just that, rumors.

ah, is there a better chance it will come from a higher level REable part like a lvl 8 has a better chance than a lvl 1?

I happen to be a SW and pilot, so don't care what board this is on....

Lvl 1 parts are preferd when you are RE for KSE disks. They are fast and pilots are usually more than happy to give them up for little or no cost. I have gotten all my disk from low level parts, ie lvl 1 and 2.
