Just one small tip that might help. if your friend warped out into the same system he'd be far enough away for his shields to regen and travel back whilst you have more time to pick off the black suns as he returns. that way, because he hasnt left the system, he may still be able to complete it.

I hate to be a tool, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves....
There is no "warping" in Star Wars, damned Trekkies!

I just wish they'd bring back the formation commands.
Those were great in Beta.

Anyone else think it would be cool to have an /assistwingman skill that auto targets whatever ship has last took a shot at your group members?
I ask because last night I helped a friend do a space quest from kashyyk (sorry dont know the exact quest) one of those one's that keeps ambushing you along the way to your drop-off / collect point.
It was getting so ridiculous, the amount of black sun spawns, that I ended up asking my friend just to keep runnig CTSS and just run for it to the waypoint and i'd try and keep them off his back.
This worked for a while but on the last phase of the mission you have to escort a transport through tatooine space, usually not a problem even with lots of waves, trouble is, the mission was bugged (or just stupidly hard) and it was still spawning the black sun ambushes from the start of the mission. At one point we had about 20 tier 4 black suns on screen at the same time, normally I can easily pick them off on my own but as I was with a friend and it was his mission they were all targetting his a-wing, I was trying to keep them off his back while he dodged them but it's hard to track which ship poses the most threat to your wingman if there are so many. It's not even like he can scream "get that black sun off me" cos you just reply with "er... which one...there's 20 of them!"
At the end he ended up warping out and having to fail his mission cos his armour was about to give out, I never took a ding in my KSE and manged to clear up the black sun but it was too late as soon as my friend warped out he failed his mission.
My point is, if we had an /assistwingman that targetted the ship that was doing most damage to your group we could have easily done that mission. The code is already there in some form cos that's how come a mob on the ground knows to single out the high damage dealer in a group.
Any thoughts?

That's cruel. ![]()
and FYI for the others....jumping to a point in the same system is called a Micro Jump. If you say Micor people tend to be more careful about staying insystem. If you say jump...most people will jump to another system....at least from what I have seen in the past.

Reason #20 why Star Wars is better than Star Trek:
It takes the Enterprise a full engineering crew and some weird crystal to get to hyperspace, all the Millenium Falcon needs is a wookie.
