Thread: Turning Speeds.

Hello, everyone.


I just got TTE and I have a question about my Z-95's turning speed: What is the best speed to turn at? I was under the assumption that it was the same as XvT and XWA where 1/3 was optimal, but I've been reading some of the FAQs on this board and it seems to differ from ship-to-ship. Yeah, I've experimentedwith it,but I just want to make sure I've got it exactly right.

Experimenting with it is the best way to go. Pre-RotW (and TTE), the mass of a ship was a decent way to determine turning speeds - small ships turning best around 80%ish, heavy ships turning best around 40%ish, and most ships scaled in between. Now-a-days, that's not always so true, but a stock Z should still be best at a reasonably high throttle level, 70-90%.
