Thread: SOE's web designers need to get their butts to work

We've had this new privateer master ship for a while now (what, at least a week?) and theres no mention of it in the JTL webpage under the ships section. They also have failed to put up pics of the black sun ship variants, any of the textures for ships, much less anything that's been done since JTL launched.

I dunno what they've been doing, but the jtl webpage hasnt changed one bit since they posted pics of the hutt fighter variants. Give us a break.

I guess we should just face the facts and give up, since SOE hasnt cared about this game since day one and all the dev's are off making EQ2 now.

And how much does anyone want to be that the "Combat upgrade/revamp/nerf/fix" will just give us more clothes and entertainer songs and dances?

If given the choice between new ships, and pics of new ships (or old ships), I'll take the new ships any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Thanks for your opinion.

I would love to have new content in JTL as well but if something as simple askeeping a website current is just notpossible than what chances do you think you have seeingmeaningful content addedin the nearfuture? What may seem as insignificant can often shed light on a much broader situation. The fact that the original poster of this thread pickedup on this is acredit on his her part and once again raises more questions about what the heck is going behind the scenes with SOE/Devs.

On my server they have change alot more things in the past month then over the period of time i have been playing. Some of the changes have not been good (Solo missions, which is screwing with the servers cash flow) and then the new ship that came out last week that i am hearing about now? All these changes seem to be overwhelming me.

I totly agree with you about how the website is not very well kepted up on. Maybe they should have the people of the game run it, kinda like swgcraft.com or swgcreatures.com, that way we can all change the site and update it when ever we see fit. I dont know, it is just my thoughts!

HER part, actually

All i'm saying is that from what i've seen lately, SOE doesnt have the competence to do something as simple as update a website.

ack, pressed enter too fast

If they cant keep a website current, and when they havent done anything for this "combat upgrade" that was supposed to happen six months ago, they sure as heck dont seem too interested in keeping their swg fans.

I'm just tired of the BS that we have to put up with when we're paying 15$ a month to play this game. Customer service sucks, game content sucks, they havent fixed anything that they said they would, and the only way they ever do "fix" anything is pressing the nerf button.

We're paying for this game, and we should be getting at least a little effort from SOE in return.

SOE has done the impossible by screwing up star wars. how could ANYONE screw up something as good as star wars. I really hope that if they dont do things properly in the upgrade they get fired and replaced by someone who actually CARES about this game and its fans.

To SOE, we're nothing more than free money every month. They sit back and work on their precious Everquest 2 while we suffer from a game that's been in it's alpha state since launch.

My mistake. I stand corrected.
