Are you completely killing all waves before the next wave spawns? If not that is why it is failing. Otherwise I could not tell you.

Me and everyone I know is stuck on the Storm Squadron mission with the Decoy Shuttle.

The mission says we are supposed to kill 4 waves then the shuttle is supposed to 'make a run for it' and allow it to be captured.

It never does and no matter how many waves we kill, the mission is always a failure.

What are we doing wrong?

I'm having the exact same issue. I brought a master pilot with me and killed at least 7 waves before the mission ended and said we were failures...

lol, 30 rebel fighters died and they still werent convinced that the shuttle was carrying anything worthwhile! Very frustrating after the 3rd attempt and about 2-3 hours each run.

Forever in limbo till they fix it.

yeah, its a rough one. lol

Ive done it so many times now i have 1mil space combat xp and nothing to train it on.

Ive taken 2 master pilots and another time i took a small squadron of 6 ships. We must have eliminated 8 waves (no survivors, no disabling) and it still showed as a failed mission.

After multiple times dragging others up on it, I was able to succeed when I brought along a double Ace in his B-22 and a 4443 in his JSF. Myself and the JSF more or less sat there, maybe getting xp off 1-2 lucky hits... Everything else was decimated by the Ace in the B-22...

Heh, Well, that was why you asked me to come along right?

I talked with ChrisG about this and the only thing he said to try was to kill all but the last fighter on the 4th wave. Disable it only and destroy any others.

I told him that was the dumbest thing ever and that it needs to be fixed... not guessed.

Does anyone else have a more reasonable solution?

Tried disabling the last ship in the fourth wave, and destroying all the rest. This did not work. The waves continued spawning, and eventually the mission failed. I had 1 wingman, and the pair of us made short work of the whole thing

Just keep trying guys, this mission isn't bugged...it's just really difficult. I myself have failed it many times, and since then I have passed it many times. You have to be very quick to destroy all the fighters as fast as you can, and it can be done solo but it's always best to bring several friends.

Storm Squadron is one of the hardest squadrons for a reason, if it's too hard than try inquisition squadron, but if I were you then I would keep trying so that you can say you've done it. Hehe, it's more fun to do the hardest stuff and lose than to do the easy stuff and win, at least it is for the true gamers. And look at the bright side, by the time you're done you should have some nice loot and credit chips to show for it.

Yeah, out of all the waves that spawn you need to kill 4 entire waves before the next one shows up, so essentially you need to kill everything 4 times, after each successful wave destroyed, the shuttle will send a message like "Keep it up, they're buying it" or some such.

Well, I am at this mission to, I dont know wether its bugged, but I think if its

not bugged its ridiculous hard. The Devs should fix that. At least they could replace the A-Wings with some slower vessels.

Im just lvling to privateer ace on my alt, and im on 4434 now and never ever saw a wingmate.

I have tsome very nice equipmentat 3322 , my droids have the finest commands, and I

dont see a chance to solo the third mission, and even with a wingmate it failed ...

I stacked 1 mil piloting exp, and tbh I think ill drop Storm Squadron.

Its fun to play hard missions as long you see some advance, and it even gets harder....

cmon, 2 gunships in the 4th mission. On privateer it was "run away from 2 gunships"...

But this is the elite of the Imperial Navy, of course it's going to be hard. Got to weed out the wheat from the chaff.
