Thread: About Vaksai mission...

Hi,
With my alt who has done Heavy X-Wing mission with Alliance pilot, I wanted to try Vaksai for my other character (which is CorSec pilot).
I had no problems with corvette for X-Wing , however, Corvette for my CorSec pilot is "Red" by default. I can't even get close to it before being blasted. I read from boards that Corvette is neutral for most cases if you don't fire, however, it is always red to me.
Is it because of CorSec or my ground faction (imperial) effects this too?

I had the same problem. i am also a Corsec Pilot.
but still i had no problem taking it out.
simply draw the Ghrag fighter escorts away from the corvette and disable them...then head toward the vette and hit IFFScramble...this should allow you to position yourself behind the corvette...use missiles to take out shields then disable engine.

Come in at the Corvette from "below"; only Gun 5 should be able to hit you. Dodge and weave until you're in range, then blast Gun 5. Turn 180 degrees and boost away, dragging the fighters with you. Disable or destroy the fighters, then return to the Corvette, again from below; this time, there is no longer a Gun 5 to shoot at you. You can take out both shields by attacking the Corvette in this newly created blind spot, and it will not be able to return fire. Then you can disable the engines no problem.
