Yesterday I was finishing up SA, my second squadron. I killed my thirty, came back and got my vette mission, killed my vette and got the success message. I had to log off before returning to Burke. I went back to him the next day and he gave me the 'vette mission again. I didn't get the 'failed mission' text, instead it was as though he was giving it to me for the first time.

Just a warning for anyone in a similar position.
