Ive just renewd my account ,be about 8 mounths or so.
Im not seeing any faction build up when i soot down a tie..
Im novice reb right now,i get faction points for the mission but not for kills?
When i do ground combat I get faction for each kill + the mission...Is this just one of the never ending broken things or am i misstaken?

If you go overt, you will get FP for shooting down factional enemies. Of course, you will also be open to being shot down by other overt players, but that's the trade off. If this interests you, you'll find a Rebel space station in just about every system, just check the POIs tab in your datapad.

Yeah. You have to be Overt in space to get faction points. Being overt on the ground has nothing to do with being overt in space. You have to declare each time you launch. Which is why I land all my ships in an area where it's close to an Imperial station. First thing I do when I launch is head straight for it. Gives me time to start loading all my programs as well.

Idid not realize this either. I went into kessel and the first time I got faction points - second time not - thought it was a bug ( pretty safe bet usually) - now I know why - although I am sure that there is stilll a bug involved too
