Thread: B-Wing Insanity!
Ya. there were some great postings on B-wing fighting.
I can help you using a Oppresser. you need a really good YPR engine to help and make small corrections.
you still have missiles to shoot the running away fighters if they do not stay and fight. you only need to hit them once and aim for the engine.

Very rewarding if you can get it to work.

I might go as far as saying that the b-wing handles worse than PoB Ships
Actually, I think they do. The Y8 can fly sircles around the bwing. I'd love to seriously use the Bwing some day, but it's not worth it until I've REed a few RE10 guns and a decent engine. The last time I used a Bwing, I didn't yethave my Kuat R-CTZ. It was really underpowered.
Nothing else I've flown manages to get so many questions and compliments. Not when you try and actually use the bugger, though.

Lets face it, fly one of those, and it looks an absolute beast.

i been using it. the fire power is IMMENSE! but the handling..... when i am fighting and following a fighter and it moves in a different direction, the oversteer itself is enough to get me killed when i try to get the fighter on my screen again
The thing that helped me the most is stop jerking the stick around. If you start flying with slow, smooth motions, moving the stick no faster then the B-Wing can respond all oversteer disappears.
Chasing/turning battles are tough and time consuming in a B-wing, strafing/jousting works much better,
