Hi.

In another thread I was more or less challenged to take on the Tier 5 Ghrag duty missiion with a heavier, slower ship. Apparently doing it alone in an A-wing isn't good enough for some people (be careful how you interpret that last part).

Anyway, so I accept the challenge. As an Alliance pilot, I'm going to take on that mission with a Y-wing and gunner. I think it'd be pretty easy to be honest. Halyn accepted the gunning position so we shall go fourth and prosper.

I thought though...its boring just us two doing it, so I say to thee try it yourselves.

A two seater Fighter (or an ARC), some friends, plenty of yelling at each over Teamspeak and a packet of crisps. You have a week from today to go fourth, try the mission and report your success. Screenshots of the last T5 gunboat wave and it's destruction would be fun. I might even get a friend to film this in order to go towards the Ghrag related film I'm making.

Those who do it first get a gold star, but those who simply try it for funs sake get kudos points from the land of A-wingzenith

Peace.

No offense but wouldn't it be terribly easy with any vehicle that has a rear turret? just lead them on a chase killing the stuff that gets in range. So long as you have an engine that bests the gunship I honestly can't see a problem doing it.

Read the other post where I was challenged and thats basically what I said. I just decided to post this because I was bored. No offence taken either.

That has to be ultimate bragging rights, doing that mission in a Tier 1 ship...

Unless it's a heavy variant, then it doesn't count

Heavy Y-Wing.... Drool.... don't play with my emotions.

Y-wing is tier 1. Heavy variants are technically tier 0

would I be scorned if I took the challenge and found a gunner for my Krayt? That would give me 2 forward firing guns, but I am a prvateer and dont really want to switch, I love the Rhyk way too much!

A real man would do it with a starter ship.

Bleh, I would do it, but, im still bugged! Hell, I dont need a ship, just a blaster, a vac suit, and a push in the direction of the enemy will do!
