Yeah try talking to all the space stations, most of them give out lower level stuff, but some of it is actually worth while.

If you talk with the Kash station after you have done the quest for the RGI, Heavy X, or Vakasi more missions open up from the transports around the station. I highly recommend speaking with the YT-1300 flying around he gives you a nice duty mission, that will leave you repairing yourself at the station.

Some stations will give landing rights to certain areas depending on your faction, and possibly squadron. For example, Tatooine will give rights to Jabba's palace to SA pilots if they the station quests. Emperor's Retreat is available at least to the Inquisition pilots. I understand that Dantooine also has landing available for the abandoned base. The landing rights info is detailed in a thread that the FAQ links to somewhere.

I don't recall getting anything from the Corellian station, but it did lead to a neat quest series where a criminal organization contacted me through the in-game mail to work for them while I was flying CorSec. Basically worked with the station to go undercover. Not too fancy, but it was a neat thing to see in my mail....
