Did I miss anything?
Yeah, kinda. Take your time. Fly all the ships. Granted the heavy starters make great economic sense, but..... fly all the ships.
I dont think many people set upon JTL with the immediate goal to do all 9 squadrons - its one of those things that just eventually happen over the course of time.
Take your time, theres no rush, cause after your done, theres really nothing else to do except pvp.
You lose about 10k in mass but gain another weapon mount - and you'll be hard-pressed to hit 85k by 4333 anyway. The only thing the Heavy Syck can afford in T3 is the ability to mount SW-crafted L7 armor for extra protection.

QFE, I ave done 5 and a bit now, and taking your time is fun. When talking to your trainers, actually read what they say and take time to think how youll reply etc. I havent used droid programs preprogrammed either, just the ones in the particular faction, and the level i am at. The only special equipment I have is a stupendous lvl 4 REed engine and a seriously tasty lvl 5 gun.
I am having a great time now playing through the squads, especially with the settings set to Ace Pilot (hard) rather than Jedi (childs menu, please). Just using the programs of my squad I have soloed it all so far (except that corsec tier 2 mission when the ships where drunking bumbelbees, thanks Yanus). Hell, I even pop into Kessel for the XP as a tier 1 and 2 pilot, its great fun.

Take your time and have fun. I originally remastered squadrons to have something to do in space. I recommend doing each faction for the first time in pre-RotW ships. Fly with a friend, try new tactics. Listen to the trainer text. Don't burn yourself out racing through all nine - there's not much on the other side.
Actually I kinda said it tongue-in-cheek....Last thing Im gonna do is sit down and play 137 hours straight to master 7 pilot profs...Cause if I do you will all read either
1) about some stupid guy who really did die in in Xwing...or 2) got clubbed to death by his wife with his joy-stick
I enjoyed Smuggler Squad and it's story line...and am looking forward to more!
