Thread: Storm Squadron question

I just finished the first tier of training for the imperial iniate pilot and I turned in my application for storm squadron. I'm stuck on the first mission where I have to locate a Nym Lt. in the Lok system. I've flown all over the system and can't seem to find him. Is he in any certain spot or am I just not having an luck finding him? Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

hmm been a long time since i went through storm squad, but i dont recall a mission like that where i wasnt given a WP, you dont have one you havent activated by any chance? or have you tried restarting the mission?

if not what exactly dose the mission info tell you? that may help sort this out, well im sure by the time i hit post someone with a better memory will have said something to help anyway, but just incase lol

It could be a problem with the lok system, got 2 other people complaining of a similar problem there but a different squadron.

it says


"travel to the lok system and inspect a Nym lieutenant. you will need to search the system for your target, but a good place to start your search is near the lok space station."



and no it did not give a WP :\

Make sure youre using the Y key for non-hostile targets, other than that i have no idea.

I did this mission a couple days ago, and it is confusing. I actually went down to ground and got yelled at to make sure I wasn't screwing it up.


There is no waypoint for this mission. Fly toward the Lok space station, and look for ships with the name "Nym's Lieutenant". I found mine about 3k out from the station on my way inbound, and then it was a breeze.

I just opened the datapad, flew toa POIthat mentioned controlled by nym in it's description and did the mission.

ye it sounds like that may be right then, i really dont remember that one been so long since iv done it :s cant think of anything else to suggest either, dont fly in lok much

After you finish your misions for the first guy in bestine (who recently gave you a tie fighter suit/helmet) you talk to an officer inside the capitol building who starts giving you missions in the Lok system. One of them involves you looking specifically for an NPC in Nym's stronghold who you are supposed to give a code-word to. The code word is something like, "I'm here to clean the drive shafts" or something to that effect. This NPC is called a fuel tech (or something) inside Nym's stronghold on Lok. Talk to this NPC and then there will be a female zabrak (or twilek? i forget) just outside the stronghold who will then tell you to take out a YT-1300 in Lok space.

thanks for the help, I found him bout 4k-5k outside of the lok space station, actually saw about 3 but 2 HS'd away before I got close enough. Just finished the hostage rescue also

I'm currently 4444 and when I was a neutral pilot I just went to my master mission pilot trainer, (coreilla for val's pilot squad) and I didn't have to take any more missions from my Storm Squadron trainer. I tried the imp guy in the palace by got nowhere - where is the master pilot trainer for SS?


I soloed so far but this last mission he gave me is nuts, 1 (me) vs 8(?) fighters and 3 gunboats... If there is anyway to avoid dying attempting taking on the Rebellion solo, it would be helpful =]

Hi


Just finished SS (solo). You need to do mission to get location of next trainer. Grand Admiral Niall Declann, Theed Palace, Naboo (-5526, 4618).


I just targeted one of the gun ship and use bomer strike on it. Boost past it which draws the other fighters. Take them out then head back for other gun ships.


Had to hypespace out once to get repaired + they ran into a imp spaw as well.


You get a time limit as well before they jump out off there as well.
