Thread: IMPORTANT SPACE MINING QUESTION!!!

ok, so i'm runnin the quests to get the mining ship....
completed a mission, got a cargo hold, and a mining laser......
went up, completed the mission, and the guy told me to do with the resources as i pleased....
so, i tried to sell them to one of the stations that the crazy guy talked about.... i cant find the station 
so then i thought, why not just take the resources out of my hold, and then keep them, or sell them the old fashioned way...... nopers! i dont know how to get the resources out of the hold. i dont know how to sell the resources to a station (once i find the station that would buy them that is) so i'm screwed!
without an empty cargo hold, i cant do my next mission, cause i dont have the room
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

UPDATE!!!
I figured out how to get the stuff out of my cargo hold... you just land, and get it from the radial menue on the ship in your datapad.... excellent!
The question still stands though.... how do i sell the resources that i mine to a station that buys them. More importantly, WHAT STATIONS BUY THE RESOURCES?!

any outpost buys them. not every system has an outpost. if you look around in system hitting X eventually a outpost will pop up as targeted if system has one. I do not believe you can sell resources on the ground. sucks to be you
then again they might. Ive never tried to tell ya the truth( to sell outpost resources after i yank them from my cargo bay)

Kashyyyk, Kessel, and Deep Space don't have Outpost stations. All other space sectors do.
Look for SW's who are making the new stuff that requires asteroid resources. They will buy them if you take them out of you cargo hold.
Oh, and don't bother trying to sell Icy Asteroid resources on the ground. Nothing uses it. All the rest are used in one schematic or another by SW.

...or you could hit 'n' to bring up the map and just look in the list.

Check your galaxies trade forum to see if any Shipwrights are looking to buy space resources. I'd also keep any resources needed to craft higher level mining lasers, cargo holds, etc and see if you can convince a shipwright to make them for you at a lower cost since you're providing the resources. Collect some extra resources to sweeten the pot. You may actually find a shipwright who will craft the items for free.
