I am having a few problems with piloting, and I was wondering if others are having similar problems, and what we can do to get the attention of the developers.

Rubber Banding

When traveling in space, I am getting frequent rubber-banding where the engine will shut on, then off. After a second or so the engine cuts back on and i continue forward. This really has been happening since JTL launched.

Plasma Alarms, POB Ships

I am also still having problems with plasma alarms not shutting off after our plasma conduits are hit. I repair them, but then the ships alarms will not shut off. I have to land and fully relog and do a full scan to fix the problem.

Excessive Lag in Deep Space

Its just horrible in Deep Space. I cannot fire my guns accuratly with the choppy animation, and neithercan my gunners in the turrets. I think we need to inform the developers to remove ships from Deep Space so that it is a bit less laggy, I have the minimum set for graphics options. This all started happening right after the Combat Upgrade. Before it was just fine and smooth.

Gunners Crashing in the Turrets

My gunners frequently are crashing at the turrets and I am forced to land, Again I am not sure why this is occuring, possibly due to latency,

This is not another complain post, I am posting this in hopes that a developer or correspondant picks it up and says "hey, these are things I can report to have worked on". Of course I have sent in numerous tickets and bug reports, but to no help and the problems arn't exactly fixed.

The little flames that come out of your engine when you're at full throttle stay there even if you're at 0 throttle.

Cockpit appears rather slowly when exiting hyperspace.

i found this too and it was very bad. in reg space lag was normal. in DS, like you said, it was VERY choppy, it took me over a minut to kill a single opresser.

this was the first time i went up into space since the CU came out.

nice new targeting though

Rubber Banding

I typically attribute that to a combination of graphics lag and connection latency. It tends to happen when you have been relatively stationary and then start going full speed on a straight course - the system has to start loading all of the objects you are flying towards and sometimes you get ahead of it, so it pulls you back. My thoughts, anyway.

Plasma Alarms, POB Ships

Most people have said the issue has been fixed, but the fix did require the POB ship to be redeeded before taking affect. Try that and see if it helps.

Excessive Lag in Deep Space

This is a post-CU issue at least partly because of the inability of players to destroy the ISD/RSS. Once that has been addressed, then I hope DS will return to a state closer to what it was like before.

Gunners Crashing in the Turrets

This has been an issue for a long time, and I have written it off as a quirk in the 'idle' timer. It seems that Turret Gunner actions do not reset the timer used to determine if you have been idle long enough to get kicked out to the Character Selection Screen. Have your Gunners run an 'afk macro' (/blink, /yawn, you get the idea, I hope) while on board and see if that helps cut down on Crew loss.

Just bought the new expansion today and I like it. However it is taking me 20 minutes or so to load into space. I am also crashing through interplanetary travel and while hyperspacing. Anyone else having trouble loading into space? This is really frustrating.

Deep Space is still laggy when the Imperial Star Destroyer is firing 99 cannons. Also Space mining is still hard to do in the Y-8 vessel. Alarms in my decimator are also not shutting off after a full repair of the ship and its conduits.
