Now I'm not some idealistic n00b, but wouldn't it be fun to fly around in the atmosphere? Dog fight over theed, have to buy AA turets to deffend from TIE bombers or Y-wings or actualy be able to use those like they were meant to? Decending upon the nest of hundreds of kryats with a fleet of battle decked Y-8s... ok that one may be going a bit far. What are ya'll's thought/ideas?

Solution: Add additional 14km^2 zones to existing planets or as new planets. No worries about people being at risk in areas where risk defines the region.

No one complains about getting blown up in deepspace, after all.

The real problem with atmospheric flight is the lag. Try driving a swoop through Theed on Bria. Things get choppy really fast. Just imagine if there were X-wings and TIE fighters flying around overhead on top of all that. Now imagine trying to fly said X-wing or TIE fighter. If you got one frame a second, I'd be shocked.
